As our population continues to age, gaining information for aging in place and having the highest quality of life becomes more important than ever.  K-State Research & Extension offers many programs to enrich the lives of older Kansans and their families by addressing health and wellness needs through research-based education.

Alzheimer’s disease is commonly referred to as the “biggest health crisis facing the world today”, partly because everyone with a brain is ultimately at risk.  While Alzheimer’s cannot be prevented, slowed or cured, there are benefits to early detection and diagnosis, as well as numerous steps you can take now to better your own brain health.

Fall Prevention
